Job summary

Gateway Pediatric Therapy is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician for Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-7:30pm in Lansing, MI. The role supports children with autism using evidence-based ABA methods, with supervision from a BCBA and team-based collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to sit in a child-sized chair or on the floor; move as needed for client safety.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain instructional area throughout and after sessions.
• Prepare materials and ensure accessibility of stimuli and needed items.
• Arrive on time and ready to work with adequate preparation for each session.
• Receive supervision and attend team trainings.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and parents within 24 hours.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and follow Gateway policies.
