Job summary

Gateway Pediatric Therapy is hiring a Behavior Technician for Monday–Friday evenings (3:30pm–7:30pm) in Lansing, MI. This part-time role supports pediatric ABA therapy with families, providing both home and clinic-based services.

You will work under supervision, with opportunities for advancement and a structured career pathway. Qualifications include clear communication, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Must communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and sit/knee/stand as needed during sessions.
• Must have a valid driver license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain instructional area throughout the session and at the conclusion of the session.
• Prepare and keep binder, stimuli, and needed materials accessible and organized.
• Dress appropriately and arrive on time for work with ample time to prepare for session
• Complete all tasks assigned that are associated with the completion of a session
• Receive 1:1 and group supervision from supervisors through direct observation
• Attend team meetings and scheduled trainings
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and parents
• Respond to internal communications within 24 hours
• Deliver instruction following training and supervisor feedback
• Maintain client privacy in line with HIPAA and Gateway policies
