Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work in-person with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing ABA-based interventions under BCBA supervision. You will collect data, participate in assessments, and collaborate with families to support progress across settings.

The role emphasizes patient care, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development, with a pay range of $20 to $30 per hour and benefits such as paid time off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, families and team members.
• Background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development to enhance skills.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
