Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy in Raeford, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing ABA-based interventions under BCBA supervision.

This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with emphasis on data collection, progress monitoring, and collaboration with families and school staff to support communication, social, and daily living skills. In-person work location.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of ABA and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, and teammates.
• Commitment to HIPAA confidentiality and privacy.
• Background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
