Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2-12 in a center-based setting. You will implement prescribed plans, collect data, and collaborate with the BCBA to support child progress in a fun, engaging environment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:15 am–4:45 pm) with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth into leadership and BCBA tracks as part of Bierman University.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RBT certification or obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift and carry clients at least 30 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan.
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, bending.
• Must have manual dexterity to perform data collection and session documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet team and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data, and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding progress.
• Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and acquire knowledge by attending required trainings.
• Follow BACB guidelines.
• Work towards becoming an RBT if not already.
• Foster a positive working environment.
