Job summary

Harrison School District 2 is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support students with autism and related needs in the school setting. You will implement behavior analytic services under supervision, collect data, and model supports for staff.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, and an RBT credential within six months of hire. Experience with children in educational settings and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• RBT credential required within 6 months of hire; BACB supervised training supported.
• Experience supporting children with special needs; ABA principles knowledge.
• Criminal background check and district fingerprinting required.
• Must be able to pass required assessments and transcripts where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral intervention in 1:1 and small groups per ABA plans.
• Record and summarize data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists on student goals.
• Assist with staff training and crisis support as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
