Job summary

Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA) is seeking Behavior Interventionists to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. Paid training, shadowing with a supervisor, and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Responsibilities include conducting sessions, assisting with daily living tasks, teaching critical skills, and collecting progress data.

Qualifications

• US work authorization
• Pass criminal background check
• Negative TB test results
• Reliable computer and internet access daily
• CA driver’s license and willingness to drive SFV area
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Comfort working with children and adolescents (ages 2–23)
• Positive-only method commitment and ethics

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in school or home
• Assist client with daily living tasks
• Teach adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills
• Encourage desired behaviors with positive reinforcement
• Collect and analyze data to track progress
• Ensure a safe, encouraging environment for kids and teens
• Advocate for individuals with disabilities in all settings
• Uphold high ethical standards
