Job summary

Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA) is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to support children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism, through one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings.

Paid, hands-on training is provided with shadowing sessions, and growth opportunities are frequent. You will work in the Greater LA Area with a positive-only approach to help clients develop essential skills.

Qualifications

• US work authorization
• Must pass criminal background check
• Negative TB test results
• Reliable transportation and CA driver's license

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in home or school
• Assist client with daily living tasks and academics
• Teach adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills
• Encourage desired behaviors using positive reinforcement
• Collect and analyze data to track client progress
• Provide a safe, encouraging environment for children and teens
• Advocate for individuals with disabilities in all settings
• Uphold high ethical standards of practice
