Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA) is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to work one-on-one with children and adolescents with Autism in homes, schools, and the community in the Greater San Fernando Valley area.

You will deliver evidence-based ABA plans, use a positive-only approach, and help clients build play, communication, and independence. Training is provided, with pathways for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with ABA is preferred and compensation reflects experience and education.
• New to ABA? Training is provided.
• Warmth, creativity, and love of learning are valued by the team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in school or home.
• Assist the client with daily living tasks and academics.
• Teach adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills.
• Encourage positive behaviors using reinforcement.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and ethical practices.
