Job summary

Maryland School for the Blind is seeking a dedicated aide to support students and staff within ABA-based instructional programs. Under BCBA leadership, you will help implement BIPs and IEP objectives, assist with data collection, and prepare instructional and behavioral support materials.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, track student progress, and support daily living skills, sensory needs, and assistive technology use across ages 3–21.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must complete required training and competency assessments.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Implements ABA-based instructional components.
• Collects data and assists with data analysis protocols.
• Provides instructional and behavioral support to students.
• Adheres to BIP and IEP directives from the BCBA and team.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to prepare materials.
• Maintains student progress data and updates graphs.
