Job summary

Chimes International LTD in Baltimore, MD seeks a dedicated Behavioral Specialist to support students with intellectual and behavioral challenges. You will help develop FBA and BIP plans, train staff, and monitor data to promote the least restrictive interventions.

This full-time role offers collaboration with BCBA/PA teams, compliance with COMAR, and opportunities for professional growth in a purpose-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related behavioral health sciences is required.
• Experience with FBA and BIP development.
• Knowledge of ABA and crisis intervention strategies.
• Experience with data tracking and reporting including Excel.
• Ability to work with teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing FBA and BIP with input from IEP team.
• Collect and monitor documentation on incidents, interventions, and BIPs.
• Train classroom staff in behavioral strategies and PBIS.
• Monitor use of interventions and provide feedback to staff.
• Participate in school meetings such as PBIS and Team Share.
• Maintain COMAR compliance and analyze data to fade supports.
• Collaborate with BCBA and PA for continuity of services.
