Job summary

Elevation DME in Chicago, IL is seeking an AAC Consultant (Augmentative and Alternative Communication Consultant) / Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, field-based role in the Chicago area.

You will grow referrals, evaluations and SGD placements by visiting clinics, hospitals and schools, delivering demonstrations, and supporting AAC evaluations. A strong background in AAC and SLP credentials is required, with travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• MS, CCC-SLP strongly preferred; SLPA may be considered based on state requirements.
• Experience with AAC, Speech Generating Devices and AAC software.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow SGD referrals, evaluations, and placements within an assigned territory.
• Conduct face-to-face visits with referral sources such as clinics, hospitals and schools.
• Provide clinical in-services, device demonstrations and AAC education.
• Educate and support referral sources and families through AAC evaluations and placements.
• Maintain CRM documentation and territory plan.
