Job summary

Baxter DME in Illinois seeks an AAC Consultant / Speech Language Pathologist to drive sales and placements of Speech Generating Devices. You will market to clinics, schools, and healthcare partners while ensuring compliance with policies and HIPAA regulations.

Ideal candidates hold MS, CCC-SLP (or SLP-A with relevant experience), knowledge of AAC devices, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 75% is required; base+commission offered.

Qualifications

• MS, CCC-SLP strongly preferred; SLP-A will be considered.
• AAC devices and software knowledge.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to succeed in territory.
• Clinical experience with sales aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory to reach revenue and service goals.
• Maintain rapport with referral sources, speech clinics and DME partners.
• Process orders with DME partners, clinics and MDs promptly.
• Schedule and arrange delivery of devices.
• Train DME partners on equipment and setup.
• Follow up with patients to ensure understanding and referrals.
• Promote products to referral sources and maintain relationships.
• Be available to referral sources as needed.
• Help train new AAC Consultants as the company grows.
• Report on designated spreadsheets weekly and document in software.
