Job summary

AllStar Medical Equipment in Jefferson, LA is seeking an AAC Consultant (Speech Language Pathologist) to drive sales and placements of speech-generating devices. This full-time role combines clinical expertise with business development, territory management, and partner training.

You will collaborate with SLPs, clinics, and DME partners, travel up to 75%, and report to the Director of Marketing & Business Development. A MS CCC-SLP is preferred; SLP-A considered.

Qualifications

• MS, CCC-SLP is strongly preferred; SLP-A will be considered.
• AAC Devices and Software experience.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
• Clinical experience with sales aptitude required.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory to reach revenue and service goals.
• Maintain rapport with referral sources, clinics, and DME partners.
• Assist with processing orders with DME partners and clinics.
• Schedule and arrange device delivery in a timely manner.
• Train DME partners to use equipment effectively.
• Follow up with patients to ensure product understanding and positive references.
• Promote products to referral sources and maintain ongoing contact.
• Report on spreadsheets and document in Brightree/SharePoint as needed.
