Job summary

Cook Medical Supply in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Speech Device Consultant to drive sales and placements of Speech Generating Devices through demonstrations, evaluations, and marketing to SLPs and healthcare professionals. The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and willingness to travel as needed.

You will build a profitable territory and support training of new consultants as we grow.

Qualifications

• Must live within reasonable commuting distance to Birmingham, AL.
• Computer / laptop (Windows), iPhone and iPad.
• Prior knowledge of AAC devices and software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as deemed necessary.
• Pass background requirements and drug screenings.
• Must have valid driver’s license with proof of clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve goals for sales and placements of Speech Generating Devices through marketing, in-services, demonstrations, and evaluations with Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and other Health Care professionals, patients, and families while adhering to all company, accreditation, and HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Build a profitable territory from the ground up and independently manage activities.
• Present marketing and product ideas to management and assist in training subsequent Consultants as we grow.
