The role focuses on development, justification, and engineering approval of design solutions for primary and secondary airframe structures, interfacing between local manufacturing and transnational design offices. Open to professionals with a background in aerospace structural design and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of progressive experience in aircraft structure design engineering support.

Responsibilities

• Author, validate, and authorize technical solutions, repair drawings, rework instructions, and design datasets for primary/secondary structures.
• Ensure airworthiness compliance across released engineering files.
• Create temporary aircraft definitions (special instructions) for testing.
• Coordinate with global Airbus engineering departments for major reworks.
• Act as a shop-floor interface between local manufacturing and design offices.
• Review design data and prepare materials for technical briefings.
