Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Airframe MRB / Liaison Engineer in Mobile, AL. This highly technical role focuses on developing, justifying, and approving design solutions for airframe non-conformities across primary and secondary structures.

You will interface with shop floor teams and global engineering networks to keep production moving and preserve airworthiness. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering field and 10+ years of experience in aircraft structure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in aircraft structure (airframe) design engineering support.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and overseas within Airbus international network.

Responsibilities

• Author, validate, and authorize technical solutions and repair drawings for primary/secondary structures.
• Ensure airworthiness compliance across released engineering files.
• Provide on-site structures engineering support across manufacturing and flight line.
• Coordinate with international Design Offices and engineering centers.
