Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Quality Operations Manager (A220 VSM) for 2nd shift in Mobile, AL. You will lead Quality inspectors across multiple BUs, acting as the on-site representative of Quality VSM and ensuring adherence to Airbus Quality Standards.

Role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, coaching of the Quality team, and collaboration with HO VSM. Travel and regulatory knowledge are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, engineering or manufacturing management.
• Minimum 5 years in aerospace and/or equivalent environment; quality experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience with quality systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple Quality inspection teams on 2nd shift.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus Quality Standards and POA.
• Coordinate with HO Quality VSM and MFTs to resolve issues.
• Coach and mentor Quality staff; drive continuous improvement.
• Travel 5% domestic and international.
