Job summary

Global Communications Services seeks an experienced A/V/VTC support specialist to service military events in Lackland, TX and surrounding areas. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain telecommunications equipment, deliver on-site support for large conferences with 100-350 attendees, and coordinate with DISA/502 CS as needed.

Responsibilities include configuring Polycom/Cisco/Tandberg systems, training users, and maintaining workstations and peripherals.

Qualifications

• Three years’ direct experience providing A/V conference support to military personnel.
• Three years’ knowledge of Polycom/Cisco/Tandberg video components & systems.
• Three years’ knowledge of computer hardware and A/V equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains telecommunications equipment.
• Provides on-site support for major and small conferences, including VTC services.
• Collaborates with base communications squadron and other DoD agencies for requirements and activities.
• Provides training on VTC equipment and configures user log-on routines.
