Job summary

FORTÉ designs and delivers AV systems powering modern workplaces. We’re seeking a Sales Engineer to blend sales and technical expertise, delivering demonstrations and shaping solutions for customers.

You will partner with the Sales Team to translate customer needs into compelling AV architectures, supporting pre-sales activities and presenting products from Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and QSC.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems.
• Knowledgeable of control systems programming as well as CAD software.
• Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
• CTS/CTS-D certifications are a plus; other related certs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support architecture, installation and planning of AV solutions.
• Research and analyze capabilities of available hardware and software options.
• Interact with customers and project stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
• Design AV systems and components that meet customer needs as a single integrated system.
• Assist with development of formal sales plans and proposals.
