Job summary

Vestcom is hiring for a label machine operator on the A-Shift (Sun-Tues 7:45AM-8PM, Wed 7:45AM-2PM) to meet daily production schedules. The role emphasizes efficient machine operation, waste reduction, and accurate material logging within a clean, safe workspace.

Applicants should have 1–2 years related experience, strong mechanical skills, and a GED or high school diploma. Overtime or additional shifts may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
• Ability to embodies Vestcom’s core values.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
• Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
• Performs distribution functions as needed.
• Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.
• Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.
