Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a reliable production label machine operator for the A-Shift (Sun-Tues 7:45 AM–8 PM, Wed 7:45 AM–2 PM). You will operate label machines, minimize waste, and ensure production deadlines are met.

You will log time and materials in the ERP system, maintain FIFO inventory records, and perform routine maintenance on dies while keeping a clean, safe workspace. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience; willingness to work overtime

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years related experience and/or training.
Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
Ability to embody and reflect Avery Dennison's core values.

Responsibilities

Operates label machines to meet daily production deadlines.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
Performs distribution functions as needed.
Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels; maintains FIFO inventory and identifies QC problems with raw materials.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug-free workplace is required.
Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.
