Job summary

Vestcom, a leader in technology-driven shelf-edge solutions, is seeking a production associate for nights in Charlotte, NC. You will operate label machines, log materials in the ERP system, and maintain a safe, clean work area while meeting daily production deadlines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years related experience, and solid mechanical skills. Overtime and shift flexibility may be needed; Vestcom offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow with Avery

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
1–2 years related experience and/or training.
Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
Ability to embody Vestcom’s core values and maintain safety policies.

Responsibilities

Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
Communicates label production issues with the Supervisor/Manager.
Performs distribution functions as needed.
Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in production to maintain FIFO inventory.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
