Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE in Torrance, CA is hiring a Plater II on the A shift. The position requires handling a wide range of plating and metal-processing tasks, including cadmium, nickel, anodizing, passivation, and copper stripping, with supervision and mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in aerospace plating or NADCAP familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform plating and cleaning processes (cadmium, nickel, anodizing, passivation, copper strip, etc.).
• Operate plating equipment (spin dryers, hoists, bake ovens, sandblasters).
• Monitor tanks and transfer chemicals safely using pumps.
• Mentor and train other operators as directed.
• Ensure equipment safety and maintenance; report malfunctions.
• Participate in and support HSE programs and waste reduction efforts.
