PLATER II-A SHIFT
SUMMARY:
The Plater II is a skilled position responsible for performing a wide range of plating and metal processing functions, including cadmium, nickel, anodizing, passivation, copper stripping, and other surface treatments. This role requires limited supervision and includes responsibilities such as troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, and mentoring less experienced operators. The Plater II contributes to production efficiency and product quality in line with aerospace industry standards

Safety Compliance Requirements:
To perform this job successfully an individual must maintain either no facial hair a NIOSH Approved Beard as pursuit to Cal/OSHA California Code or Regulations, Title 8, Section 5144(g)(1)(A) and pass an annual respirator fit test.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic mainframe computer systems and familiar with Spreadsheet and Word Processing software; Database systems
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend correspondence and basic technical procedures. Demonstrated ability to read code/machine language, write basic reports and instructions to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and calculations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios and standard units of measurements.
Reasoning Ability
