Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Processing Technician II, Plating to operate and maintain plating machines, process parts, and ensure compliance with print and specification requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing parts, cleaning per specs, applying copper, nickel, silver, zinc coatings, monitoring chemical solutions and plating baths, and training other operators as needed. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of plating experience.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 30 pounds.
• Maintains a clean and orderly workplace in accordance with 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain plating machines.
• Process parts to meet government, manufacturing and environmental specs.
• Inspect plating loads for coverage and adhesion.
• Train other operators as required.
