Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Regular Full Time A/R Clerk-Sales Clerk in Cincinnati, OH. The role ensures store sales and payments are reconciled, invoices are generated for contracts and rehab services, and data is posted to accounting systems.

1–2 years in an office setting, accounts receivable or accounts payable.
Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

Reconcile store sales, paperwork and bank transactions – 50%.
Posting cash receipts batch, balancing and posting of credit card and bank deposits, and reconciling the A/R sub-ledger.
Export approved billings from the OOD database and post invoices in Sage 100 -5%.
Enter OOD authorizations into Sage 100 and import into the OOD database -10%.
Post Contract/Recycling sales orders in Sage 100 and process invoices -10%.
Assist Accounts Payable with invoicing – 10%.
Clerical tasks (including reconciling the café sales and drawer) – 5%.
Other duties as assigned (including switchboard back-up) – 10%.
