Warner Music Group in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant, A&R who will support the team with daily transactional and process-oriented tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the department.

You will assist in relationship management with artists and industry professionals, help coordinate record-making logistics, and learn how to identify and sign talent under supervision. This role is based in-office four days per week to foster collaboration and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Support the A&R team in daily transactional and process-oriented tasks to ensure smooth operations within the department.
• Assist in relationship management by coordinating communications and scheduling with artists, songwriters, producers, and other industry professionals.
• Help coordinate the logistics around record making, assisting with the administrative processes of creating and producing music records.
• Learn the foundational steps of how to identify and sign talent by organizing demo submissions and keeping track of emerging artists.
• Provide tactical support for artist and catalog development initiatives under the guidance of your supervisor.
• Follow established procedures to support the team's relationship building and networking efforts, tracking key contacts and industry events.
• Stay plugged into current cultural trends, compiling information to help the team understand and articulate movements within the music industry.
