Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Coordinator, A&R Administration to support the operational and financial processes for artist recording projects in New York. You will assist with budgets, contracts, payments, and project tracking, ensuring timely delivery of assets and adherence to label standards.

Daily duties include setting up artists, vendor verification, royalty accounts, POs, invoice processing, and timeline tracking, while coordinating with internal teams and artist reps on project

Qualifications

• Experience in music administration or entertainment finance.
• Basic understanding of music industry contracts and union requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for day-to-day management of artist recording projects.
• Set up new artists, vendor setup, and verification; establish royalty accounts.
• Issue purchase orders and process invoices; track timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure documentation for union filings is submitted.
• Collaborate with artist representatives, attorneys, and managers on project details.
• Assist with preparation of reports and summaries for senior management.
