Job summary

Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services is seeking an Unlicensed Technician to join the A&P Pathway Program. This hands-on role offers training toward FAA-certified A&P, with a September 2026 class start and a 12-month program completion.

You will gain paid hands-on experience in a large-scale MRO operation while earning a wage and benefits and advancing toward Airframe & Powerplant licenses.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of aviation mechanical experience.
• Basic tool knowledge and the ability to read technical data.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance support for aircraft during heavy maintenance visits.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Assist with structural and composites work and document parts as required.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and work specifications.
