Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC seeks a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to maintain Learjet 60 aircraft across 34 U.S. cities. Work involves hands-on line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs per manufacturer manuals and FAA standards.

Expect 10–12 hour shifts in a fast-paced environment, with a direct-hire, full-time contract and travel to base locations as needed. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data.
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings.
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation.
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review progress and resolve issues with the Director of Maintenance.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
