Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced FAA-certified aircraft mechanic to maintain Learjet 60 aircraft across multiple U.S. bases.
The role offers a competitive hourly rate with overtime and leads pay, plus fully covered travel arrangements. This full-time direct-hire position emphasizes adherence to FAA and manufacturer data, plus collaboration with maintenance leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings required.
- 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
- Experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to follow manuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
- Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA data.
- Follow FARs, company procedures, and approved maintenance program.
- Read and interpret aircraft manuals and electrical drawings.
- Move aircraft in hangar and ramp; operate tow-tractor.
- Attend weekly maintenance meetings to review progress with the Director of Maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
