Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking a full-time FAA Mechanic to maintain Learjet 60 aircraft across multiple U.S. bases. Year-round, you will perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, and repairs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an FAA A&P certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings, plus 6+ years of Part 65.83 experience and hands-on experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines. Excellent troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures, and the FAA-approved CAP program
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review progress with the Director of Maintenance
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
