Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced FAA-certified mechanic to maintain a Learjet 60 fleet. This full-time role covers heavy maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with FAA and FAR procedures.

You will work with a tight-knit crew in a fast-paced, professional environment, with travel to client sites as needed and a structured 8-on/6-off schedule. Ideal candidates bring Learjet airframe experience and PW305A engine familiarity, along with strong problem-solving skills and

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data.
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings.
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation.
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve issues with the Director of Maintenance.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
