Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled FAA-certified Aircraft Mechanic to maintain a Learjet 60 fleet. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced environment with a home-base travel model.

You will perform line/maintenance tasks, interpret manuals, comply with FARs, and participate in weekly progress reviews with the Director of Maintenance. Expect long shifts and travel between 34 U.S. airport cities.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft
• Complete work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve issues with the Director of Maintenance
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Expect 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment
