Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is hiring an FAA-certified aircraft mechanic to perform maintenance on Learjet 60 aircraft across a nationwide home-base setup. The role offers top-tier pay, leads at a higher rate, and travel accommodations to keep a Learjet fleet flying for a 35+ year operator.

You will work 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment, with 8 days on and 6 days off, and occasional holiday rotation; relocation/travel is fully supported by the company card.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and Pratt & Whitney PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data.
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings.
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation.
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve phase inspection, service, and repair issues with the Director of Maintenance.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Expect 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment.
