Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. You will verify part numbers and ensure all maintenance documentation is complete and compliant.

The role requires on-call availability, 25–50% travel, and a commitment to safety and quality, with expertise in electrical troubleshooting, sheet metal repair, RAMCO ERP, and communication.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years’ related experience.
Active/current A&P license; FAR 135 operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft/components per ADs and FARs.
Verify part numbers/serials match documentation during work.
Maintain maintenance docs in compliance with FAA regs and policies.
Participate in SMS and keep work area clean and safe.
Advise PIC of issues that would take aircraft out of service.
Manage parts requests to ensure prompt repairs and readiness.
Travel 25–50% and support on-call rotations.
