Job summary

Air Methods in San Bernardino, CA is seeking an experienced A&P mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on Company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. You will ensure proper documentation, participate in safety programs, and support operational readiness with prompt parts requests and on-call availability.

The role requires 2–5 years’ licensed A&P experience, familiarity with RAMCO and ERP systems, and the ability to work a flexible

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years’ related experience as a licensed A&P
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
• FAR 135 operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components following procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins and FAA regulations.
• Verifies part numbers and serial numbers against documentation during installation/removal.
• Ensures all maintenance documentation complies with FAA regs, company policies, and manuals.
• Participates in the company SMS continuous improvement program (level 4)
• Maintains a clean, professional work area and corrects safety issues as directed
• Assesses maintenance issues with Pilot in Command and communicates if aircraft may be taken out of service
• Requests parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs
• Other duties as assigned
