Job summary

Certified Aviation Services, LLC in California is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to perform inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance on various aircraft to ensure airworthiness and safety. You will read blueprints, repair airframe and powerplant components, discharge paperwork and maintain accurate records, while meeting FAA requirements and CAS safety values.

Qualified applicants hold FAA A&P license, HS diploma, English proficiency, and 1 year line maintenance experience; ability

Qualifications

Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no infractions.
1 year of previous line maintenance experience preferred.
Experience on at least two commercial aircraft types (A319/A320/A321, B737/B767/B777, E190) preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; computer literacy; ability to pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, airframe structures, engines, aircraft systems.
Perform airframe, powerplant repairs and modifications to meet FAA requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints and aircraft wiring diagrams; disassemble/assemble parts and test systems.
Maintain documentation, open discrepancies and corrective actions with accuracy.
Operate tools safely and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Tows and parks aircraft; complete work orders and sign off on releases.
