Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior practitioner to drive Aerospace & Defense supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing improvements across client engagements in the US. The role emphasizes operating models, design-to-build optimization, and digital factory strategy leveraging AI, IoT, and PLM technologies.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, shape client solutions, and contribute to sales origination and thought leadership while traveling 0–100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working on Aerospace & Defense supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing improvement initiatives.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience related to new technology (Digital Thread / Twin, PLM, Robotic Process Automation, IoT, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an external consulting role

Responsibilities

• Operating Model Strategy for Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing functions in support of Aerospace & Defense product development
• Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing Network Strategy and Design to optimize how things are designed, where they are sourced, where they are made, and where they are going
• Supply Chain, Engineering, and Digital Factory Strategy – Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Manufacturing Operations Management, Industry 4.0, IoT platform, AI, ML, prescriptive maintenance, connected devices, blockchain etc.
• Lead teams (5-100), with diverse backgrounds
• Support client sales origination and thought leadership development
