Job summary

WireMasters is seeking an experienced Capture Manager to drive interconnect, wire and harness solutions in Aerospace, Defense, and Space programs across the US. You will map opportunities, develop capture plans, coordinate technical resources, and shepherd proposals from concept to production.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of selling DoD/aerospace interconnect solutions, a BS in EE or ME, strong communication, and a proven record of winning large contracts with primes or the DoD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10+ years selling technical interconnect/wire/cable solutions into A/D/S.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and harness practices; familiarity with Creo/PLM/CAD is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition, budgeting, FAR regulations, and defense/aerospace ecosystem.
• Track record of winning large, complex contracts with the DoD and/or primes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new A/D/S programs; build multi-level relationships with engineering, sourcing, and program management.
• Drive account/territory strategy, capture plans, and multi-year roadmaps; meet bookings and margin targets.
• Coordinate with AEs/Inside Sales/PMs to align technical fit, samples, quotes, LTAs, and compliance.
• Represent the company at OEM/prime days and industry events to maintain funnel hygiene and forecast accuracy.
• Lead design-in discussions with customer design/EE/mech teams on interconnect/wire/cable architectures.
