Job summary

Product Manager for Interconnect – Input/Output at Molex drives development and lifecycle management of rugged connector systems and cable assemblies for Aerospace & Defense. You’ll partner with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to capture customer needs and shape compelling roadmaps.

The role emphasizes VoC capture, market analysis, and cross-functional project leadership across the product lifecycle, with opportunities to influence pricing, profitability, and portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of product management, product marketing, business development, or related experience within the electronics industry.
• Technical understanding of interconnect products, cable assemblies, connectors, or related electronic components.
• Experience supporting product development, market analysis, or customer engagement activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions and influence decisions in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for high-reliability I/O connector systems and cable assemblies.
• Gather and translate Voice of Customer (VoC), market intelligence, and competitive insights into product requirements and growth opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional product development projects from concept through launch in partnership with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.
• Manage assigned product lines throughout the product lifecycle, including product enhancements, pricing, cost management, and end-of-life decisions.
• Develop business cases, forecasts, and market assessments to support portfolio growth and investment decisions.
• Engage directly with customers to understand application requirements, validate product concepts, and support strategic opportunities.
• Monitor product performance, profitability, and market trends, recommending actions to improve business results.
• Maintain an understanding of relevant technologies, industry standards, and Aerospace & Defense market requirements while supporting customer presentations, product training and roadmap development.
