Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an Account Director for Aerospace & Defense to lead strategic client relationships, own revenue and P&L for assigned accounts, and drive multi-service line engagements. You will engage CXO-level sponsors and coordinate with delivery teams to ensure backlog, margin and client satisfaction.

Ideally you bring 7+ years in A&D, with ITAR/NIST/CMMC/GovCloud experience, and a proven ability to close complex deals from $250K to several

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense domain with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with ITAR, NIST 800-171/800-53, CMMC 2.0 Level 2 and GovCloud/FedRAMP.
• Experience closing deals from $250K to $5M+ across software development/implementation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to edit presentations and proposals.
• Self-driven with ownership of objectives and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Forge relationships with VP/CXO decision makers across A&D.
• Map client organization and develop sales strategy for new opportunities.
• Drive revenue by prioritizing, structuring, and leading multi-service line deals.
• Own and deliver on revenue and contract terms; lead negotiations.
• Lead RFPs and proactive proposals for renewals and growth.
• Track industry trends and provide proactive ideas and solutions.
