Job summary

DRS IT Solutions, Inc is seeking a Field Tech (Desk Side) Support Analyst for onsite work in the Atlanta, GA area. Candidates must have an active A+ Certification and be open to 1099 contract work. Local to the Metro Atlanta area is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of work experience.
• A+ Certification is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and wireless support.
• Desk side support experience is required.
• Windows certification and ITIL background are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional customer service posture at all times.
• Build relationships with school staff and administration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported at schools.
• Monitor and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Install OS updates and patches on Windows and Apple devices.
• Document work in the ticketing system for audit purposes.
• Attend mandatory monthly professional development meetings.
