The role requires a valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or equivalent qualifications), strong understanding of softball, and the ability to build a comprehensive program with staff and community involvement.

Qualifications

• A valid Minnesota coaching certificate or alternative qualifications is required.
• Strong background and understanding of softball.
• Coaching experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the school mission and vision.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.
• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
• Positive, high energy, and committed.
• Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
• View success not just as winning; but as helping team members to reach goals.
• Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching.
