Job summary

Mounds View Public School District is seeking a dedicated 9th Grade Softball Coach for the Spring 2027 season. The coach will oversee daily operations of the program, coordinate practices and games, and collaborate with school staff to support student-athletes.

Qualified candidates will have Minnesota coaching certification (or equivalent), strong softball knowledge, and coaching experience, with a focus on character development and community engagement.

• Valid Minnesota coaching certificate or alternative qualifications required.

Pay: Stipends are paid in accordance with the Teacher Labor Agreement, Appendix C

Overview:

The 9th gradecoach is responsible for managing the daily operations of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.
• Strong background in and understanding of the specific sport.
• Successful coaching experience strongly preferred.
• Experiencein building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the schoolmission and vision.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.
• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
• Positive, high energy, and committed.
• Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
