Qualifications

• Emergency dispatcher experience or training is preferred.
• Ability to obtain NCIC/CCIC access within six months of hire.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatching duties for public safety and emergency services.
• Answer and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls; route resources accordingly.
• Log information in CAD and coordinate with responders; monitor radio traffic.
• Process CCIC/NCIC data and coordinate with agencies via CCIC/NCIC/INTERPOL/NLETS.
• Maintain confidentiality and support relationships with the public.
