Public Safety Dispatch Network is seeking 911 Call Takers in Altamont, UT. You will handle emergency and nonemergency lines, confirm locations, and gather essential details to support responders.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong listening and typing skills, and the ability to follow procedures. Training will prepare you for call-taking and certifications as required.

• Strong listening comprehension and accurate typing skills are important.
• Ability to follow structured procedures and maintain composure under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller’s callback information.
• Use approved questions to identify nature and urgency of the situation.
• Enter accurate details into dispatch software.
• Forward incident information promptly to the appropriate dispatch function.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification.
