Job summary

IDEA College Prep is seeking teachers to ensure students master academics and social skills essential for college success. Teachers set ambitious goals, track data, and develop daily lessons to provide rigorous material and college-credit opportunities through dual-enrollment, AP, or IB courses.

The role includes implementing standards, delivering curriculum, submitting lesson plans, and actively engaging with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution (required).
• Teaching certification or credentialing strongly preferred.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Deliver content and grade-level instruction and materials.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
• Communicate progress with students and families weekly.
• Facilitate use of technology for learning and tasks.
• Maintain a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Contribute to a productive school culture and sense of community.
• Engage in tutoring sessions as needed.
• Participate in weekly meetings and after-school duties.
