Qualifications

• High level content-area proficiency evidenced by teaching cert or related study.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom is strongly preferred.
• State certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Deliver content and grade level curriculum, objectives and texts.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Use assessments to track progress and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate student progress with families weekly.
• Utilize technology as a teaching and communication tool to boost achievement.
• Maintain a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Contribute to school culture and positive learning environment.
• Build relationships with students and families based on trust and respect.
• Host tutoring sessions as needed and participate in weekly duties and meetings.
• Engage in district and school professional development and learning.
• Work a minimum of 40+ hours per week.
